worste conditions anyone has seen in pamps in jan

what can i say only couple of runs open,green at top is rocks and ice down to chicken jump,begginners being brought down blue as only run with no rocks and ice,hope it picks up soon,im back in 3 weeks

Jo, i was there as a beginner last week and we were learning at the bottom of the green run, near snowshack, and also up on top near the 3 man lift.

We are taking 5 first timers and 3 second timers so just a bit concerned on how they will get on.

Change resorts - Bansko and Borovets have good snow

our operator wouldnt change with less than 6 weeks til hol.

has anyone gone with neilson? Should I contact them direct to go to borovets, maybe a bit late. off on sat.

Rep in resort has contacted me stating that the local weatherman has predicted NO RAIN for the next couple of days.

However when I was there last year a lot of rain fell in a couple of hours (could have wept) . It turned warm so I slept with the windo open. I woke about 4am and it was blooming freezing. The rain turned to snow and there was about 5 inches of fresh snow.

What will be will be.

the blue with the button lift hasnt even been bashed.
only green which is down to tarmac and ice at top,blue leading to chicken jump rocks,red off chicken jump doesnt have an end and you have to walk red down to back of green icy and rocky,red off corner of green is rocks,small wall good,4 hour travel on bus is now a nightmare and putting lots of people off,need more snow and plovdiv airport

im just so glad i didnt book in advance,great resort,just poor snow guarentee
