Hi All,

Unfortunately these reports are starting to have that 'Deja Vu' feeling from last year...although I have checked back and conditions were worse at the same time last season...

Everything is exactly the same as yesterday.

To summarise:

Suhar - beginner slope at top of gondola is open.

Rila, Rotata and Iglika runs are still open. Rila 3 is not pisted properly so in some places there are big moguls but it actually makes it more enjoyable / diverse when there's not much open! Rila 1 and 2, along with Sitnyakavo (blue run at the top of the 4 man chair) is also open for beginners.

Again, Bobby is on Yastrebets today and both slopes are good, again slightly bumpy from the snow from the cannons.

Once again, there is no problem skiing - and shouldn't be for those arriving at the weekend. At the moment, temps are still very cold (-12 last night when Bobby got home and that was down here in Samakov!). Like I said yesterday, the only problem you may have is the boredom factor which will probably kick in after the first few days....

As you know, we don't really trust the forecasts but the local radio says cold temps and sun, which is not ideal as we need a massive dump of snow, but at least for the next 3 days they are still saying it will be cold - hopefully they are right!

If you email me (click my name above) I will give you my log-on details for www.snowforecast.com so you can see 9 days in advance - we don't use the site but if we subscribed for 3 months, we got a free 2011 calendar and we can only get Bulgarian ones out here!

There are also another couple of sites that show 10 days and 14 days, but they are pretty depressing viewing!! www.netweather.tv and www.accuweather.com - again, we only use the local radio one so not sure if they will help or hinder you!!
