Yeah, I know that Kas but I just cant help it mate! My mate Ewan is an instructor out there. He thinks we will be fine.Kas, what are the chances of not being able to ski at all?

At the moment the chances of not being able to ski at all are zero... but I'm not going to comment on the future as I just give real-time, honest reports and don't want to start guessing / making things up - someone else can do that!!

Let me re-phrase Kas.Have you ever experienced a period of no snow at these times?

I just call them Rila but I mean the Martinovi Baraki slopes - so today 1 (blue) and 2 and 3 slopes are open.re: BOROVETS CONDITIONS UPDATE - 7TH JANUARY
The problem is that my husband has never seen snow. Even when we've been guaranteed of seeing snow we've raced off to the area with the winter woolies and been disappointed as the snow has melted before we get there. He reckons that he is the jinx. So I apologise in advance to everyone hoping for great snow in Borovets from the 15th until the 22nd but my husband will be there and so the snow will probably not be.

I was keeping a careful watch on the webcam until it seemed to no longer be working. I'll definitely hook up there again and check it out. We can't wait. We were told our 4 year old was probably not going to enjoy going to the ski kindergaten but he has told me in no uncertain terms that he and dad are going skiing and the girls (my 18month old and I) can stay at the bottom and go shopping. So I just hope not to disappoint the men in my life and that there will be plenty snow. In any event ...

Oh No!Well let's hope this year your husband does see snow because I'm going out on the 16th and gagging to get on the slopes again!!
