Hi deni,

you can buy a sim card around 20 leva and it will give you about 15 leva credit. (it works out cheaper because if you phone someone in uk you both pay for the call and visa versa)

the m tel shop is go down pirin street to the main square (the one with the fountain) walk down hill through the square and then go left (if you look right you will saa a pedestrian way) not far down this road on the right

i've only worn high shoes twice since I moved here18 months ago, and once was for a wedding, I've never worn high shoes/boots in the winter but my daughter has managed it a couple of times when she has visited, just make sure you have someones arm to hang onto that has flat shoes on!!!
