To try and get back to topic. You'll find quite a few of the people who rent outside tour operators have their own person on the ground whose local. I have a Bulgarian person (for Bansko) who also does the property management (so no problems with language) in case assistance is required. I really dont consider that a tour company adds a great deal if you have this local support and in some instances not only adds to cost but also to delays by you having to wait for others, going on a big coach, going slower to resort and on your return often getting to the airport much too early. Horses for courses, but orange is not the only fruit! cheers Lance
