6.30 ITV TONIGHT

Special feature on the ITV evening news (6.30pm) about the lack of snow in European ski resorts - should be worth watching.

No snow Sad More Beer Very Happy Booze Booze Booze

Bulgaria being cheaper for me means if there is no snow then so be it, nothing we can do to change it, Imagine the amount some are spending going to the posh resorts with no snow & expensive beer!

There is 1 run open at Cairngorm tomorrow & more snow next week forecast so think I might head up the 18th if there is enough snow

The reporter stated they had to travel to 3000 metres to find the only ski run in Europe open.

I am sure Fraser and Sarah mentioned that there is skiing above the mid station of the Gondola in Borovets!!

Surely Fraser can not be wrong!!!

With regard to Cairngorm they plan to to some Heli skiiing this year!Maybe Scotland is the place to go. The downside is the only beer is Tenemants at £3 a pop! Otherwiswe I am sure Europe is in for a big dump!

They didn't say the only slope open in Europe - they said it was the only slope open at that resort.

Tenemants haha not bad, I can come home though after Cairngorm & have any drink I want. There is plenty decent places to stay up there though that sell more than tennants & I would probably do that rather than leaving back of 5 in the morning.

Well, if they have to go up to 3000m in chamonix, i pretty sure none of Borovets is skiable!

Mont Blanc was covered in snow when I was there in Sept.
So it hasn't Just happened there.
