chamonix has had quiet a bad snow record for the past couple of years so no news there then, a lot of this is the government being able to justifie global warming taxes. sorry but not every year does the ski season start at the begining of dec, look at the last winter olympics they were worried they might not go a head due to lack of snow then the snow gods came, you always take a chance early in the season, nothing new
