What about a bottle of gin, she can be completely out of it in the hotel room whilst you go and enjoy the Bulgarian hospitality.

If she fancies anything to eat after that take her for a kebab. They are delicious

Where do we meet for my free drink , I am going to Pamp this weekend , any chance you could move the holibobs forward and to a different location???

If not I will send address for large cheque to be posted too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bansko

Hi,
don't want to sound a moaner but have just come back from a week in bansko and hated the place. Totally un-organised, over-populated, full of rude people who just want to rip you off. Eg: taxi to old town 4lev on the way back 30lev??? Queue for the gondola (crazy) and eventually get up the mountain and further queues agian : nursey slopes, drag lifts etc,

New Year isn't the best to go. Next time book to go last week of January or first week of February or first week in March and you will see just how different the place is. As it happens, those are generally also much better times for the snow conditions as well so it's a win-win situation.

Sorry that your first experience was a bad experience. I can honestly say that out of the 5yrs I have been going there, I have never experienced what you experienced and I put that down to only booking ...
