I would not recommend using this road as it is rarely cleared by the snow ploughs, if you know the road at all it is steep and has a few tight bends, if there is snow on the road it can be trecherous and i know of a few people with 4x4s even with winter tyres who have ended up in the ditch or worst. Dont even go ther with children on board

Definitely pay for them in euros is my experience otherwise the exchange rate they use makes a significant difference.
