I've heard there's a photo of me with Pete at the auction. Only thing is the expression on my face
Unknown to Pete, I had Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction after dislocating my jaw, so when he kissed me for presenting a trophy to him, I was in AGONY.
Sorry Pete, in the photo, it looks like I am grimacing at your touch, when actually it was such a pleasure meeting you
hope you get the extra allowance, but I doubt it, hubbys work flew 20 people over but also had to send a van vis ferry due to the weight and how much they wanted to charge. I suppose everyone could claim extra baggage thats the problem.
Sam - I know it's a long shot but my motto is "if you don't ask ...."
Sorry to be missing the meet but booked tickets before dates were announced. Other kids are going so your daughter should be ok for company. At least I won't have to duck and dive the photographers
With regards to getting goals over ......just a suggestion but I coach football and we use portable goals which are made of plastic and dead easy to put up they are 12ft by 6ft. They come in a carry bag and broken down the bag measures less than 1ft square by 4ft. The bikers doing the ride to BG are taking a van could you maybe ask them to take them over if we can get the goals and get them to them. Then if you do get luggage from the airlines you can take over smaller easier stuff ...

Dona They were the goals I was thinking of as thought the kids could put them away and keep them safe. They still weigh a fair amount though, don't they?
I'm hoping there will be room on the van or the fire engine but it will be a case of priorities.
There's two fire engines being donated to Bulgaria from Leicestershire. Firemen are driving them out there. Nicky and Tufty Duck are going to ask the firemen to take some things on board the tenders.
I think it is so good of them to volunteer to go and ask - only for the children sakes
