Amanda - Just a thought.

As the kids are freezing as we speak, and it looks a long way off before any new system will be installed, can we not use some of the money raised to install paraffin heaters or simular to get them through this winter Confused

You can get electric heaters - think they were about 50 - 75 lv each in Plovdiv - might help keep the cold at bay whilst the coldest weather is there.

Funny how they care so much about fire hazzards - but not about kids freezing.

Pete i have tried everything for alternate heat, but as some of these kids suffer from exteme autism and epilepy they have to consider the dangers. I know that freezing the children is also a danger, but without electrical sockets and no trip switches ect what can i do

Wheat Bags? Can you get rice Amanda. I have just made wheat bags for a friend using some left over fleece backing from a quilt. I can do them for you, if you and the kids can fill them with rice and sew up the "filing hole" and microwave them. Very Happy x
