Anyone got anything good to say about Hotel Pamporovo this year

Seen lots of reports saying that this 5 star hotel is not worth its top hotel status, but is this just from the winge brigade.I'm going on the 20th Jan and am getting a bit worried about the accommodation. Nothing we can do about the snow conditions except make the best of it, but if the hotel is poor as well then this could be the worst holiday for many years.
Any positive comments from people who have been there this year would be appreciated.

if you use the search function and enter pamporovo hotel.there have been a few detailed posts from people who have stayed in the last few weeks

Over the past three years I have heard both good and bad reports on here and from people at the resort who were staying there. I think its the luck of the draw.re: Anyone got anything good to say about Hotel Pamporovo this year
have never stayed there so can't give an opinion but would advise you to read the hotel reviews on www.tripadvisor.com, I was looking at them yesterday.re: Anyone got anything good to say about Hotel Pamporovo this year

Some people just reply for the sakeof it - none of these posts were helpful.
Now that the post has slipped down the page and soon a few drunken no brainer questions will be asked like will it snow or do I take the local currency then i will ask the question tomorrow and hope that someone who can read and understand English will answer the question - or maybe no no winging types ...

My post said that over three years I have read and been told (from people staying there at the time) mixed reports. Some people think its brilliant, others have had the holiday from hell!!!! I think much of it is down to peoples expectations and what one thinks of as good someone else will hate. More people "tell" if they have had a bad experience than a good.

ooooooooooooooooooh hand bags out David.I have a positive comment about The Pamporovo Hotel.
It looked great outside with all it's xmas lights on it. They should leave them on all season i think. It was like a mini Blackpool and i hear rooms to match.

We stayed in hotel Prespa last year, but had a wander down to the Pamporovo. The interior was immaculate and we thought it was so good that we would stay there this year. May even see you as we are going on 20th too!re: Anyone got anything good to say about Hotel Pamporovo this year

im going there. What people not seeming to realise is that this is a different county and they will have different standards, Understand this and you will be fine. Dont expect the Ritz because it is a poorer country than England or America. Besides ur there for the snow not there hotel. Realise that and you will have fun
