Anyone recommend First choice

been to pamps for the past 2 years with Inghams. Unfortunately they only fly to Sofis which is now getting a bit traumatic with a 4 hr coach journey to the resort. First choice fly to plovdiv but Ive read some bad reports about them. Anyone got any good ones?re: Anyone recommend First choice
Why not try Balkan they have good routes ? Have travelled with them twice this season and no complaints so far except for the inflight food which is easily overcome. Lets face it when you get to the resort you are at the mercy of the hotel you are in and your ski instructor.re: Anyone recommend First choice
We also went with Balkan and had no delays - the flight even landed earlier than it should have done. The only problem was the food on the plane but in my experience, the food you get on a plane is never great.re: Anyone recommend First choice
Just got back from pamp and i went with first choice, i have no complaints about them, the rep Tanya was very usefull, she knew her stuff, what with her being a skier herself and she speaks good english, transfer time from plovdiv is about 90-120 minutesre: Anyone recommend First choice
Hi Nic & LouA few postings earlier in the day don't sound too promising for First Choice. I think we are going with Balkan next year. We too found the transfer etc from Sofia traumatic. It's been quite an anti climax today hasn't it - We've got severe withdrawal symptoms.

Dont recomend first choice,5 of us went,first week in March,nothing but delays,got dumped in plovdiv airport on the way home only to face another delay,the rep b-ggered off back to pamps,called FC helpdesk and was told we were now in the hands of the airline and wasnt interested anymore,although the FC rep at the resort was ok,but you dont need them when your there unless youve got a problem,as long as you know your hotel is good thats it.re: Anyone recommend First choice
Try crystal. Planes are up to date, food ok and in flight movie, although we saw the start of bridget jones three times before they put on the incredibles as the video was worn out!!
Plovdiv is the most basic airport in europe I think, so although nearer to Pamps, I would't want to get stuck in a delay there. only a small snack bar selling drinks sweets and crisps.
Balkan planes badly need an overhall, I wore my food & drink when the lady in the seat in front of me's seat fell back!!!
