I'm not sure if the hotel had a cash machine. I brought ample euro with me and cashed them in the local supermarket on an as needed basis (Alaska supermarket is 24 hour so you'll have no problem, be it sterling or euro). You'll be about a five minute walk outside the centre of Pamporovo. The first night we paid 12 levs for a taxi just to 'find out feet'. After that, we walked in each evening no hassle. Just be careful on the footpaths as they're very dodgy with the odd concrete block sticking out of the ground.
Have a great holiday. Wish I was going again but........... I'll have to wait til 2008 to ski again.
There's a little supermarket in the hotel too so if you need anything you'll get it there - it's just beside the internet cafe to the right hand side when you go in the main door.
