I've got friends staying at our apartment over Christmas , but If i can gather more funds together I will try and get over in February sometime.
Fear not.... everyone gets led astray at Daks. (Me included last year)!! thankfully, the long walk back to the apartment in the cold helps one to sober up.

we insure with Allianz - a Bulgarian company and we successfully made claims when we had roof leaks the season before last. We have all 41 apartments insured with Allianz and so get discount for group payment and organisation. We felt that we were more likely to have sucessful claims if all apartments in the block were with same company. Our thinking was that if a problem in one apartment affected apartments below then at least we were negotiating with one company rather than one company playing off against another. So far so good!

I'll take note of your comments for future as I've already gone ahead and booked with Intasure.
To date, I've never had to make a claim but as Jo mentioned earlier, the true worth of an Insurance company is when they're asked to pay out. We'll have to wait and see what fate brings.
