Can anyone help, we are looking to book a skiing holiday over the school holidays in Easter. This would mean leaving Scotland on the 5th of April. There seems to be plenty of options in Bulgaria at this time. Does anyone know what the skiing will be like at that time of year ?Thanks

easter is in march this year kenny...well it is in england anyway..last april in borovets there was still snow up on top of the mountain, but it started to get a little slushy at lunchtime.

Last year in Bansko April had the best skiing of the season with some good falls of snow - however every season is different!!re: April
state schools start there holiday in April having a long weekend in March over easter go back to school for a week then have there holiday, daft really but thats what they are doing.last years was fine have alook on the archives of the webcam, wouldnt go to pamps at that time though as a lower resort.

John you obviously haven't done your homework, since the introduction of the Scottish Assembly Easter is always on the 1st April in Scotland.Our income tax have also been cut to 5p in the £, we only pay 25p a litre for petrol, whisky is exempt from tax and skiing lessons are compulsary for all under 5's. Now we're all loaded up here and can have a ski holiday each month of the ski season.

That's correct - Easter in March this year so I go to Bansko on the Sat before as only means taking son outta school for 4 days as it Good Friday the end of our week there and we also get the Monday off for him (or should that be me..??) to recuperate abit more before returning THEN - ah - just to be greedy I am taking a chance on the snow and going to Fraser's in Borovets for the 1st week of the 2 week half term - FAB!!!!!!!!!! Hope the snow lasts but hey even if it doesn't it will be ...
