Sam, I assume your a proud Aussie bragging about being the holder of the ashes. I'm in Austrailia for five weeks in April/May so weeks could meet up for a few beers, unless your living over here now. Also I was really impresseed with the Aussie football team in the last World Cup well done.

However over the course of the week the warm air arrived and the thaw began, the snow just about held up but the afternoon of the last day it was 17 degrees C (positive!) at the hotels.
So it's gunna be a bit of pot luck in April I think, last year was very good right the way through April I hear. It's risky but it could pay off.
No Iam english married to a scot and I am constantly told how great scotland is and have endure him cheering on any country but england, but thats jsut part of the fun as they say. I am running the edinburgh marathon though in May, Mad I know but gives a chance to see family while we are there.
