( well. you never know! lol), and , or, does anyone have goggles thatdon;t make things look a funny colour.
I tried my ex-s oakley sunglasses on last yr,they had a yellow-orange lens and were just about bearable.....
PS I may be wierd, but I still also need em to look cool!
Help!
weird!!!!
You'll find alot of goggle's have a tint in them that gives you propection from bright sun shining off the snow, I would imagine you can get goggle's with a near clear screen, but in the main, I am sure that they all do give a different shade. I have recently just purchased a pair off ebay for a bargin £12.65 inc postage, they have a slight orange/yellow shade when they are on, and are well worth it!!!
They make goggles with allsorts of different coloured lenses - which are suitable for different conditions and light. Take a look at the "lens colours" section in Technology on the Bolle website. This will help you narrow down a pair that are more suitable. Don't think you'll be able to get a totally clear pair though - unless of course you plan to ski at night or somewhere without snow (Pamps might be a good choice there then!!
Could be a dyslexic/colour blindness issue - seriously! How you combat it I have no idea as most glasses/goggles are tinted - clear would defeat the object.
if it is a colour blindness or dyslexic problem, there are specialist opticians that can test you and let you know which colour works best for you, they arnt avalible in all places, there is one in nottingham, other than that I dont know.
Hiya. Thanks for all the advise above. I'm definately not colour blind, and my typing is rubbish, but am not dyslexic either...clearly, just wierd!
I'll follow all the leads above....am on the case now....
cheers everyone. clear lenses sound wonderful!
I just find the concept of clear lenses strange as my understanding is that the tint in goggles is to deflect the glare/assist in poor light when it is snowing etc. If lenses are clear then (unless optical for sight problems) then what purpose would they serve? Or am I being really thick! (probably!) I suppose you could have clear goggles to wear when it is snowing just to keep the snow/wind out your eyes....
