I had a similar problem a few years ago i find that if i close my eyes and hope like hell i eventually get down the mountain, i maybe batterd bruised and be gettin chased by a million other irate skiers , but hey my eyes work perfectly well when im sat in the pub at the end of the run and my eyes are firmly fixed on the amber coloured pint resting steadily on the bar , and on that note if ya have enough brandy in ya chocolate ya see alot more than a bit of glare ..lol
They reckon orange or yellow tinted lenses are the best, as they assist your eyes in dealing with contrast and depth perception. This is so you can judge things that are at different heights when everything is white. Very useful when skiing down a mountain.
A blue lense tones things down but red is still red and green still looks green. Brick walls with the sun on them look like ones with no sun.
Pop and try a pair to see if you can cope.
I've got gold irridium lenses on my Oakleys, they don't seem to change the colour of anything just make it a bit darker. When i bought them the guy in the shop said that they were best for all condition.
Hope this helps!
