If you feel you've been downgraded, then ask for money off the original price, or upgraded rooms, or a free ski pass pack etc. Theoretically they're in breach of contract law, so they'll be happy to accommodate you as long as your requests are ...

Main thing is to negotiate, and remember why you're going... the skiing!
i book with balkan belfast every year .they r an excellent company to deal with.top standard service both in belfast and with tony in pamps.if u r unhappy phone the belfast office speak to roberto the manager and i am sure the problem will be dealt with.I have travelled with many tour operators and i can guarantee that they r amongst the best.
I know Tony the rep, and he is a very good guy. The other rep in Pamps is a lady called Yana, and she is very helpful also. Our family has been using Balkan Tours for over 20 years and never ever had any problems with this company. They have a very good reputation and i dont think that should be ruined by certain people because of a one off mistake.
FOR THE RECORD - BalkanTours have NOT over booked the hotel iglika. we were informed by the hotel of a problem and have worked to accomodate our clients. this has resulted in a hotel UPGRADE AND FINANCIAL COMPENSATION for the inconvenience. Our rep in the resort has inspected the rooms and has reported back that they are superior large twin room. We are sorry that one member of the party feels this way but we have done all that is in our power to do.

I think we deserve a comment from u . u failed to say that the tour operator compensated u. and in looking at the brochure u were infact up graded. fair is fair please
