Stayed at hotel bansko last easter, was very nice, close to town and the lift up to the slopes. Hotel was very good for room quality, and the staff were friendly, if we got back and wanted to stay in the bar till late they would accomodate us, or point us in the right direction for somewhere that was always good.
im going to park hotel gardenia.. is a 4+... looks fab!! and in a great location to everything! Read up on recommendations... thats what we do in work to customers.. you'll find positive feedback and all accomodations to be honest, its what your looking for inparticular.
We are a group of 10-12 danes, always stayed at
Hadji Georgi Hotel (6 year) 2-3 min. from the Gondola.
Little familyrun pension, cosy, between Gondola and Strathize, half pension - try it. - and we are going tomorrow
We (2 adults /2 kids) stayed at the Perun last year are going again in 6 weeks.
We loved the outdoor pool - the temperature of bath water.Absolutely brilliant after a hard days skkiing and quite magical in the dark with a view of the mountain and the stars - if the view's still there!
We'd then do the outdoor jaccuzzi with a glass of wine & circuits of the steam rooms, plunge pool and indoor pool -then it'd be time for dinner.
We'd then all slump by the roaring fire in the bar until ...

I have to confess we never left the hotel in the evening - the kids played in the games room.I think there was pool, table tennis and some other stuff. There was also reasonably priced access to the internet.
Not the most spectatular of food in the evening's but we never went hungry.
The breakfast's were absolutely fantastic - freshly made omelettes, pancakes, meats, cheeses, cake, fruit, yoghurt, breads, etc, etc - we were never really hungery at lunchtime.
My only word of warning would be to make sure you don't get a room overlooking the Lion Hotel (which is on the oppersite side of the road) as they have a VERY noisy disco.Luckily they moved us no problem after one night and this time on booking we have specified not to be in a room on that side of the hotel.
