my first time with Balkan Flew to plovdiv 5 years ago on a Tupulov. No probs with the flight but we were having an extra few beers in the galley area which is roughly in the centre of the aircraft, stewardesses were tidying up around us, we were chatting with them and each other, we were still stood up, next thing we felt the undercarriage go down, 2 mins later we landed, so they are not quite as strict as some airlines. this was an interesting experience but i still feel safe flying with ...

We flew BH Air the other year and the plane's interior was falling to bits and the whole inside smelled of jet fuel.
It was brilliant lol, when we landed (rather sideways in a cross wind and heavily as well, and I've flown a reasonable amount in the past) the interior shook to bits and some of the compartments above knocked open.
In the interest of little children any mention of Plovdiv "Airport" should be banned. We've used it twice with an average delay of 4 hours coming home and absolutely nothing to do. It is like sitting in a giant bike shed! Sadly we are there agin this year to fit in with family who are flying London to Sofia. We go every year, this is there first, they get the decent airport...........how does that work?????
Northern people have more stamina! Besides, it makes it more interesting when there's so much luggage from so many flights all on the same belt. Those with the clever ties around theirs always look smug - the rest of us with the black or blue holdalls just reach for our glasses - or hip flasks!
