Balkan do it again!!They have cancelled the humberside flight on 24th Jan, due to lack of passengers.
Not true as i tried to book another flight last week and was told it was full !!
Does anyone know are they in danger of going under, it seems that they are cancelling lots of flights, is this the first warning sign??
They have offered alternative flights from Newcastle,
What a shambles they are!

Same every yr ,i turned up at Cardiff airport 4yrs ago only for them to Bus us to Stanstead!!! they blamed vis at CWA load of rubbish,that was the only flight to be cancelled that day...Typical Balkan,how they get away with it yr after yr i'll never know..

Friends of mine were heading out from Cardiff Jan 3rd. Now bumped to Bristol.

I stick with Inghams. Did Balkan some years ago when they started buttering the bread and boiling the kettle on the plane, that's when I put my parachute on.

Looked at Balkan this year, as seemed reasonable prices, then remembered threads of this nature from last season and stuck with Crystal!! Frustrating doesn't even come close I guess guys!!

I usually go with Inghams too S.P, decided on a do it yourself this yr and saved a few quid too...Tiger

Always gone with Balkan ... and never had a problem ... maybe we have just been lucky!!Mind you last year on the aircraft it was a bit hairy scary ... two missed attempts at Plovdiv Airport .. only to end up flying onto Sofia!!

I am wanting to fly from a northern airport pref. Manchester but cannot seem to get a decent tour operator flying from Manc to Sofia. Is Sofia the pref, airport to fly into if your going to Bansko ? Sorry for stealing the thread topic but i have noticed Balkan only fly into Plovdiv, and would be good to know any other pref operators. Cheersre: Balkan do IT AGAIN!!!
