If you went with Balkan last year and going again this year you can get a 5% from an existing booking, I didn't think I was eligible but the nice lady on the phone sorted it all out and is crediting my debit card, evan cheaper than chips holiday here we come.

It's for second timers with Balkan as in we went in Jan 2007, they hold a booking reference and give a discount 5% on any booking you have made for this year, you just have to phone them up after you book this years holiday, I was just checking by phone an upgrade I made by email, the Balkan staff picked up on the fact I asked for a none smoking room like last year, Balkan seem keen to offer this deal.re: Balkan loyalty discount

Don't know I think it's package holidays only, I realise they do mess flights around but figured the Bristol flight has been very reliable this year, we had a great holiday with them last year, no delays and fab hotel at bargain prices (Kempinski, Bansko) we just paid a fortune for a short transfer with top company in Austria; 8 hour delay to different airport and 6 hour bus journey instead of 1 hour transfer, it seems to happen with the best of them so we are giving Balkan a second chance ...

Went over New Year 2006/07, and again over New Year 2007/08.Do you think they will give me the discount retrospectively? Still it's worth a phone call...

I have no idea, worth a phone call I guess but can't really see Balkan paying out post holiday, we went jan 07 now going march 08. good luck
