Balken Air?

We are flying with them to Sofia from Gatwick on Saturday transfering to Borovets. The flight has been changed to 8pm out of Gatwick. Those that have done it what time do we arrive in the resort???? Or do we need to arrive in ski wear to join the class!!!!re: Balken Air?
LOL Pat,We fly with them to Plovdiv in 10 days to go to Pamp, also had a flight time change, we fly at 18.40, I'm guessing somewhere near 2.00am at the resort - great, just right to be refreshed for the 1st day on the slopes.
Not sure about you guys though, some one will know

Hang on, Fraser. Sorry to poke my nose in, but they don't take off until 10pm Bulgarian time!! 10:30 in resort? I would have thought more like 1:30 am ?re: Balken Air?
hi pat it takes five hours with the time dif.then about two hours or so to get to boro.so you should get a few hours sleep anyway you will have to go to the welcome meet.to get your lift pass ect.what hotel are you in are you going with balkan hols.re: Balken Air?

i suspect you'll be in resort by 3am local time..
LGW-SOF took us 2h-45 by monarch last week.
if this is the case you will look silly going to bed in ski wear.
first day ski school (for me at the samokov) started at 10-30 by the time everyone had turned up-got equipment-and been put into groups..then there was the gondola queue which was longer than a football pitch (ran to greene king pub)
by the way..if your flying with balkan..tu154 aircraft type has bad safety record (in former ...

bulgaria is 2 hrs ahead of uk...transfer to borovets is about 1h15..but by the time the bus fills up etc allow 2hrsre: Balken Air?
Lizard sorry my mistake i mis read it quite right, i was thinking of landing at 8pm 'doh' daft me about 3am would be correctre: Balken Air?
Last year we went with Chrystal but this year being half term left it too late they were fully booked. But we had such a great time thought we would try Balken But did have doubts!!!! But too late now. We are staying in a studio at the Rila and once l have my boots will be looking for my ski instructor of last year Angel he was great.3 sleeps to go!!!!!!!!
