bulgaria is 2 hrs ahead of uk...transfer to borovets is about 1h15..but by the time the bus fills up etc allow 2hrs

Balkan played similar tricks on me last year - flew into Plovdiv for Borovets. Didn't get to the resort until 2.30am - up for 9am meet and greet and ski school at 10.30am.

Funnily enough, I was so knackered by lunchtime, I'd had enough and crawled back to bed.

this will be our third time with balkan hols.we will stay at the little hotel behind the rila called the iglika palace touch wood we have had no probs have a good time B. W.

Having now been to both Pamps and Borovets, I'm back to the Iglika on 5th Feb next year. 361 days to go

Pat I dont think you so much as fly with Balkan more hope! It seems that a lot of instructers are called Angel mine was on my first year fantastic guy great fun and bloody good teacher wonder if it is the same one? He was there still in 2001

Hi Pat, classes in Pamps start on the Sunday morning (no sleep-in) so if Borovets is the same you will be ok.

Balkan Holidays have JUST changed my flight details

Should have been flying into Sofia, but due tio lack of numbers I am now flying into Plovdiv - which is an extra 30 minutes transfer to Bankso

- Not happy not a lot I can do though - but I think since I have had to pay a supplement for flights, I think this really should be refunded now!!
