It sounds like the route we took, but we came in below the river about 1km from the hut, after descending a very steep (40 degree) slope. We had traversed through the trees above the valley for a while until we could see a clear route down. It sounds like the party you met had continued down the valley after skiing the bowl beneath Todorka. There is a bridge if the river is exposed...
Its still one hell of a walk out though, especially in deep snow... I was praying that ...
Hi Alessandro...
I was praying that a ski-doo had been up to the hut and we could have skied back in its tracks, but no luck that day
Do you remember how to do it again?A friend told me that i have to take the off piste across the funpark and sraight down there is a lake, after that there is a valley you turn left and you see the road but i am not sure!!So what about this year where can i found you?
Can i get lost again ??? Nooooooooo problem
We dropped into the trees at Platoto rather than go down the valley as the gradient is better coming in from the side in deep snow. If the conditions are firm then you can get enough speed to get right into the valley from the top, and normally the road/path has been used and you can ski right down to the mountain road. From there you'll need picking up...
Im here all year round, so just drop me a mail...
