I enjoyed my weeks skiing in Bansko and will probably go back next year, but I certainly won't be buying an apartment. I don't think there is quick money to be made and outside of the skiing season I can't see any rental potential.
I stayed in a new apartment last week and I thought the workmanship was pretty poor, plug sockets and taps starting to fall of the walls.

You're absolutely right the best developments will generate rental - some developers are saying theirs is a 5* build but i don't particularly think lamindate flooring constitutes a 5* build. We have bought on the Orchard development which has teak flooring/granite worktops and although these apts are slightly higher priced than others, we believe certain people are prepared to pay for quality. Also this is a 10 yr plan - not a quick turnaround - 13 weeks rental per year will definitely ...
