the news now is the 10th of April, but t depends on snow. !!!!! I have just read a report from Kasi that Borovets is short of snow aas well.

Hi ya,

Boro is short of snow, however yastrebets and Rila runs are still skiing well up until about 2pm when it gets slushy. Saying that, it is colder again today and snow is forecast from mid-week. If it comes, it will be much-needed but even if it doesn't, there is still skiing to be had.

I have just sent you an e-mail
Latest news from Bansko- Ulen/Balkan Holidays confirmed to us that the lifts will remain open till 10th of April due the FIS ski race taking place and they couldn’t rescheduled it. The ski conditions according to their letter are not recommended for beginners
The good news- snow forecast is promising a bit of snow in the mid of the week

Though it may change, staggering that they have cancelled Val`d'Isere for similar competition... Im saying nothing

Thanks for the help and advice everyone - we've cancelled our accomodation in Bansko and managed to book a hotel online in Borovets. I know there is a real risk of no snow to ski on there either, but at least if there is some then we will be able to get to it!! If I just get a few mornings skiing in then I'll be happy
