We just got back last night from bansko - most of the lifts were open on 7th - the days before they were closed due to high winds. The queues were absolutely incredible. Every morning my daughter wanted to stay in the town and not wait for 1hr for the gondola! Thank goodness I had booked lessons so she HAD to wait (evil mum) . These queues were most likely to do with the time of year. LOADS of Greeks (we even bumped into someone from the same town as hubby!!!!) - loads of Russians.
