re: Bansko Night Ski-ing

I was in Bansko for the whole of the season last year and there was no official night skiing although some nights the lights were on after dark. The Gondola stops running around 5 and the resytaurants close at 4 so you ain't gonna stop up thre and have a meal then ski down. Yes they advertise it but no it doesn't happen. Sorry

we rode/skied down in the dark a few times after parties at the top, even without lights its possible, and much more interesting than during the day Smile

Night skiing is bollocks anyway. Now night tobogganing is another matter entirely - they do it at Ishgl and its amazing. You get the cable car up to the restaurant, get wasted and then go down on toboggans.

Ooooooooooo Mat, I definately agree Razz
Having tobogganed in Austria, France, Italy i can say its brilliant, and can only be done properly at night, blind drunk Booze
If you think ski injuries are bad, you ain't seen nothing, until you see a toboggan pile up Razz

re: Bansko Night Ski-ing

And you really could do it at bansko - invest 20 grand on 200 good sleds, turn on the lights and send people down for 10 leva. You'd make the money back in a season and give the bars at the top of the gondola something to do
