Im sure we know the company and im afraid your experience is not uncommon, especially being late...
Customer care should be paramount, difficult perhaps when price is the main concern, but still possible

A warning to everyone, when I worked overseas I used to advise my guests not to board the bus until they saw their suitcase stowed on the coach.
Once I had guests just leave their cases on the side of the road, get on the coach & a local scallywag came along & walked away with their case (this was not in Bulgaria might I say)
Just a wee bit of common sense goes along way as it seems that tourists (not just brits) leave their common sense at the departure terminal. An other example is ...

So please be carefully not just in Bulgaria but everywhere.

I have emailed the company and they say they are taking my complaint seriously and are investigating so we shall see what if anything comes of it. Anyhow lesson learnt I should be more careful and consider quality v price more in the future - not always easy for a poor student on a budget but lol
