Bansko Webcams

Bansko webcams are working again. At least they were 2 mins ago. Be quick Kim you might miss them. Its looking a bit bare. If it does snow we may be able to see it on webcams on the lower slopes.

Woo Hoooo - I am one happy bunny now Razz Razz Razz I've really missed seeing it there. It's weird seeing it like that though. Still quite a bit up top though eh. As you say, it will be interesting to see if they get more snow.

Doesnt it look a bit scruffy without the snow?

re: Bansko Webcams

I suppose it will take a while for the grass to start growing. We'll have to get Steve C to take some pics when he's there in June. Very Happy Very Happy

re: Bansko Webcams

Do I gather from topics a few weeks ago that there are more runs planned for next season? If so does anybody know where and at what level? They were building a small begginers drag and run whilst we were there in March. Whether this was temporary because the one to right of Gondola station was closed or a permanent one I don't know.

re: Bansko Webcams

I believe there are more runs planned for next season although I don't know exactly where. Here is an extract from an e-mail Steve sent to me some weeks ago on the subject :

two new pistes are planned for the existing
mountain, these have been passed and construction will follow for
next season, First National have purchased 1.6 hecteres to base a new
gondolar at the top of the new development to service a new area though
this initially has been declined but ultimately it will service ...

following...

re: Bansko Webcams

Steve is interested in certain business opportunities in Bansko and as a result spent time talking to the locals whilst he was skiing there in March.
