yes info from the Western Alps ????? (no need for exact location) because everywhere there is straight on course for another 'epic' season back to back.
it doesn't matter where you are heading,I can assure you there is plenty.
Pyrenees as well as the Austrian end and Central Italian Alps.
Or even closer to your place -Slovenian or even Montenegrons mountains just a day away by car.

Honestly -good to hear you are finally getting snow (better late than never) because before you know it, seasons will close ( quicker in BG ) and then another long long wait and keeping dreaming for months on end about it.
But as you know there is a quick solution:
Let me rest assure you that even well into April and May if you are missing something (snow) from your table you can catch plane and satisfy your ski appetite plenty if you have not forgotten how very deep snow looks and feels
Honestly if I am put with these: ( I'm sure I saw somewhere before you expressing pessimism) bad management, short term planning, ugly surroundings, expensive lift pass, bad infrastructure, dangerous behavior on the slopes, bad bottle neck places and no hope for the foreseeable future , I would do something NOW rather than years later because we are not getting younger and before we know it, we will be goners .
Have your cake now and eat it year after year until you can .
I'm sorry, epic season it ain't no matter how much snow your supposedly getting now....
I will accept that i am the first to highlight the poor (in my humble opinion) performance of the operator closest to my heart but even in this i hope for change, and surprisingly little glimmers have appeared... I will accept that i am the first to highlight the poor (in my humble opinion) performance of the operator closest to my heart but even in this i hope for change, and surprisingly little glimmers have appeared... The reason i am here is for the things that i cannot get in the Alps, unlimited access to the mountains, no controls to where i wish to ski, the wilderness and untamed aspect of skiing in BG, and ultimately the majority of Bulgarians i meet when skiing, biking, walking or whatever i choose to do in the mountains on my doorstep...
There is also the issue that this forum relates to skiing in Bulgaria ? if i am not mistaken.. your constant references to the glory of the Alps (and i know it very well) are neither informative nor entertaining enough to warrant reflection, especially on a forum relating to skiing in Bulgaria... I remember well the feeling of waist to chest deep powder, it was the season before last in Dobriniste, the previous experience of that deep powder was in the back bowels of La Fornet high above Val'd'Isere more than 20 years ago.. Classic conditions are rare, champagne powder in Europe does not happen every season, knee to thigh powder being the norm... Do not even start to try to give me advice on where i should be, or what i should be skiing, you are not qualified
Ha ha ha
I am very happy for you and the fact that you have find your Mecca.
Enjoy it until you can!
If not this season there is always possible next or next after.
20 years ago and qualified?
Do not tell me positive and negatives and do not compare BG with Alpine resort because you are not qualified (in fact out of date and very far from it)
