Has anyone used Alpineresorts or Dip Management and are there any other rental shops/agencies to consider?

We are all getting excited now (especially after watching last nights snowfall) Very Happy

re: Bansko equipment rental advice

Many thanks for your responses,

I have emailed both Companies and will let you know what they come back with.

Is it normal to see such a difference between companies rental prices? The intersport says it is giving a 20% discount but is still almost £200 more than the DIP management.

Does anyone know where DIP Management is (92 Pirin st) it says its at the back of the Pirin Palace but the only Pirin Palace I can locate on google seems further down into town and not near the gondola ...

Thanks once again

re: Bansko equipment rental advice

Ok I think I have located DIP. In their address it seems they have said Pirin Palace rather than Pirin Place apart this seems to make sense now.

Sorry for the confusion

re: Bansko equipment rental advice

Thanks Davekl,

Its aways much better when you get recommendations (nobody seems to of heared of DIP management so far!)

Ive just checked the website and their standard 6 day price * 2 for the 12 days I need would be £243 excluding loss and damage so almost Identical to DIP's prices.

I have emailed and requested a price for 12 days and Loss and Damage. Will let you know when I get a response. we could be onto a winner here!

regards

re: Bansko equipment rental advice

Charis,

TSAKIRIS Ski & Snowboard Rental came back with a price of 550lv (£240) so price is also very good. They also do not require pre payment which makes life easier.

Are they close to the Gondola (as they also allow you to store your stuff there overnight)?

Still awaiting 2 more responses, but if anyone has any other Solid personal recomendations that would be good.

regards

Marc
