does anyone know if these are being left on overnight to keep the snow topped up?
Temps aren't too clever at the bottom of the mountain at the moment, above freezing. Oh well. I'm sure there'll be enough to keep us occupied from sunday run wise...
Don't panic...plenty of snow all over mountain. Went to go to top of mountain yesterday but was closed because of snow and fog...bit of fun getting down from mid station!
Not sure about the top cannons but noticed they have been putting the lower ones on the ski road...since we have been staying at the Kempinski we see them on when we go for evening food.
Hi CJ, seeing as you are actually there, can you tell me how the slopes are looking, ice? even worse mud! another post on this site is predicting doom and gloom!!! hope not, were out on sat. Most posts looked positive now I'm a little worried,
can the ski road down to the gondola be skied ok? that one is my kids fav!
Hi Bea...I was on the slopes today and everything is looking fine.
The odd patch off ice on the ski road but no more than usual.
There is no sign of mud that I have seen. The temperatures are a little warm at around 1 degree down to about -3 during the skiing day. We have sleet/snow yesterday...the higher up you went the better. Tomorrow the hotel weather details are sun/cloud but plenty of snow around so don't panic...temps from 1 degree down to -6 on top of slopes.
Just checked on the TV in the Hotel room and current temps are between 1 degrees down to -4 on the top...but bear in mind it is 02:30 in the morning over here...
...and yes I can't sleep!!!! My mind is racing thinking of my last day of skiing tomorrow...booo hissss.
