I would go back. For what we paid it was excellent.
As for the smoke, well that's the way it is in Bulgaria. You face the same issues in other places too.
Crap service. If you want it you can have that in spades in major French resorts and pay through the nose for the experience.
Yes Bansko could do with more slopes but that takes time.
One thing I wouldn't like to experience again and that is the bus driver driving with a hot cup of tea in one hand the other hand on the wheel ...

Not as bad as one of my first experiences, mobile phone to ear, fag in mouth... only pausing to swig from a JD bottle between the seats
And another coach driver stopped in Blagoevgrad, breathalysed, and taken away... 3 hours wait for a replacement.....

Just back from Bansko, with kids and had a great time. No problems and will definately be going back.Mark
