just down from skiing and the pistes were terrific !!and They started work on the fun park today !!

Any sign of runs 12 and 13 getting pisted yet. They always seem to be ignored. They will need them when the Tomba is closed for World cup.re: Bansko
Last year there where some stupid competition and they ignored 12, 13 pistes. Thank good they had a Burton contest so the funpark was in really good condition. I hope that they will make it as good it was last year... Going there 20.2re: Bansko
They are both brilliant runs, unfortunately they never bother to piste them. When I was there recently the 4man chair from the bottom was running practically empty all week. I skied down once or twice but in the end it was not worth the effort. The area isn't that big to begin with, run 14 is permanently closed yet is still shown on the piste map. Is 12 and 13 going the same way come on Ullen get your fingers out.re: Bansko
I looked the resort up in googlemaps and over there you can see that the run 14 is almost the whole way in forest so I cannot understand the avalanche risk in that one. They should also make a new piste if you look from down to up on the right side of the hill. Really steep ones but it would be sunny on the mornings on that side if I can remember correctly. And there is a lift already practically over there. Offpistes are the best over there if I had understood correctly so why not make a ...

red 12 into blue 12 has been prepped, there still is not enough snow in the bottom to cover the two streams that cross it, but they will as and when... didn`t know there was a piste 13 ??
as for 14, that has been closed for 5 years, but talk is of re-opening with a replacement chair... could happen
