hi, going to bansko for 1st time on 4th feb, staying at Strazhite, has anyone stayed there b4? what are the best bars for nightlife?

I am going to stay in hotel lion . how is the food there. Also My british passport is expires june 2006. I am traveling to bansko 12th feb 2006 is it ok?

I have no idea, sorry. my 1st time there on the 4th feb. not sure either about your passport, prob best to check with whoever you booked thru...

Have heard good reports of the Strazhite although I didn't stay there. Bars to note are Happy End opposite gondola base, Lion Bar opposite your hotel which has Sky Sports and Kafe Parfe in the town (Red Bull tables outside). Bansko is the best. Enjoy.

Passports are supposed to be valid for at least 6 months AFTER your return date but given you are travelling in 2 weeks you have cut it fine if you need to get another! I think you will probably be OK but you may want to ring the Embassy just to check - it would be awful if you encountered trouble once there......

I'm going on the 4th staying in an apartment. Amigos is a great bar as well. All reports I heard last time I was there at Christmas about the Strazhite were positive.

Hey Me and a mate are staying at the Perun too! flying from manchester but got to drive down from Scotland! Hopefully the happy hour at the hotel is good! Cheers for the pub info!
