Bansko is fantastic we stayed at the strazhite over xmas, staff are great! We had no probs at all with our hotel, food is a bit different so be prepared to try some new cuisine! Also pub over the road was superb for more english food but they do traditional bulgarian as well, it is quite small so go early for your tea or you want get a seat!! Have a great time

Is it the 4th February you referring to? I am going out on 4 MArch - only 5 weeks to wait....

Had to call the Bulgarian Embasssy on this myself as my passport expires in April and I'll be returning from Bansko early March - the embassy confirmed you MUST have a min of 3 full months left on your passport from the date of travel. The Bulgarian embassy in London is: 0207 584 9400 or 9433- they are only open from 1-3pm during week days. Hope that helps.
