Unless you turn out to be an absolute fantastic skier you will have no chance of doing it in your 1st wk. Even if you think you can give it a go it would be an idiotic thing to do you could well end up hurting yourself or more importantly someone else. Except your limitations

that poem's totally ruined my romantic vision of The Wall - less to do the with its quality and more to do with the fact it I thought it was in Boro and not Pamps.Live and learn, eh?

I'd pay the £50Last in Pamps in 2002. On the Thursday our Instructor took us to the top of the Wall after doing 2/3 of it earlier in the week a couple of times without too much problem.
Almost needed fresh salopets at the top!
Got down, but with a couple of slips - it was very icy when we were on it.
I'd listen to Daniel Snell - it would be dangerous - just think what happened to the experienced guy in Bansko a couple of weeks ago on a black run.

Do you intend to get down there without falling to win? Because anyone can do any run, its all a matter af grace!I did it last year, seem to remember its quite bumpy. Ask your instructor to teach you advanced mougl field techniques

hope u can find the wall just got back piste maps dont work and nothing is postedoh it is theres a board at the top of the hill then thats it good luck

Did the slope after a week myself. It depends on the group u are in, the instructor you have and the conditions. Take care and be confident, but 'the Wall' is nothin compared to slopes in Borovets!re: Beginners Doing The Wall
Martin before your reply my question was going to be what is the wall, it looks like a nursery slope to me.lol, like ya said after one week at ski school it is possibe to tackle one if ya can turn pretty quick, done it myself but i was 15 at the time, just booked bulgaria because its cheap and wife cant ski and not sure if she will like it but anyway shes dont ski school i am doing boarding school, plus i have been there before so hopefully we will both enjoy it. tried black run in austria ...
