Mr W, When I went via Inghams room type was allocated on booking. What have you booked?
Judging by the webcams the conditions look much better than when I went last January so thumbs-up and have a good time. If you like culture with a small c and get the chance to visit sofia on check out day I'd recommend it. After the friendly talkative tour guide is finished with the tour group you should get about 3 hours to yourself in central Sofia before convening for the short coach transfer ...

i agree with Peter, the food was inadequate, i decided that salad was the only safe option, where nothing really could go wrong. Although we did have a lovely meal in Katie's the wine bar, which they do lovely steaks and they cook to perfection.Please keep in mind that when choosing a hotel in Borovets to not consider food, because you will be bitterly disapointed
