What are the best pubs to go to in borovets
. Going half board but will probably eat out some nights any good eatin places?re: Best Pubs
Happy Duck, Mamacitas, Francos, The Alpin, Avalanche and the steak house next door but forgot it's name, Titantic and Joy to name but a few there are loads more but you wont have chance to go tothem all in a week. I'm very jealous

A group of us went in the Red Lion and the service was terrible even by BG standards cold food, uncooked food one of the group wasn't told until 30 mins after he ordered that that particular dish was now unavailable. I wouldn't go there ago. Although I know that there are some people on this site say that it's good. Perhaps we just had a bad day, but wouldn't risk it again as I say there are too many good places to go.

as i have i previously praised the happy duck before ,i will take the oppotunity again.cracking pub, cracking staff and great scoff in preperation for a nite of apres ski!
believe the alpine is good as well.

hi moon man just got back from boro for the 2nd yr as jon said the happy duckis just the best and allso sonnys bar on corner the other side is cool to
stay away from the crazy horse they will ripp you off
and the salamander is fab for food great chicken burgers
snow has been the best for a long time we actually got snowed in on sat due to come home did not leave till sunday at 1.30am
have good time and say hi to happy duck from dave jave and emma

just a word of warning though avoid ham burgers at place in front of hotel rila- unless you like spam , lettuce and cabbage on a barm!!!!!!re: Best Pubs
Whatever you do dont go to white magic, its ran by a horrible little man with a dodgy tash. The place is a rip off, the food is terrible its probably the worst bar i have ever visited and thats a few to say the least.re: Best Pubs
Visit Hot Spot, Down the street opposite Rila, Excellent service, Cocktails are out of this world.If you want to see a really good bar tender in action go to Franco's (most of the board instructors hang out there) The guy with the dodgy Mohawk (Tom, I think) knows how to make just about every cocktail we could think to ask for !!!!
Local beer is good, so dont worry about import brands.
