for food, katy's steak house was superb, closely follwed by mammacita's and franco's.
for a snack during the day, you can't beat the Joy bar by the bottom gondola station.
i would avoid the red lion. not only was the service and food poor, but compared to the prices and sizes of the portions you get elsewhere in the resort, it was very poor.
if you want to visit a traditional english pub, try the bar under the hotel alpin.
the happy duck also has two superb guys on the guitar ...
