Well have the fabbest time. You'll love Banff. I don't know if you plan to ski but Sunshine Village will still have great snow and is about 25 mins drive from Banff. May be worth taking appropriate gear just in case you fancy it.

Ah thanks Tanny!!! Val I would love to ski we are taking our jackets to keep us warm. Snow is expected at resort level this weekend and most runs are still open. You can hire everything out there including clothing so I am tempted, but problem is my partner has only 1 weeks experiance and she is not overly confident so we would struggle. Also my knee is still playing up from last year and I dont really want to risk doing more damage.

Fair enough. If your knee does feel OK and you fancy it the blues at Sunshine are fairly easy so think your partner could manage it. You go up to a central area by gondola then on various chairlifts.

Have a great time anyway
Very Happy Booze

Daniel, if you have a brace for your knee, use it!
I did it and everything went well... had the feeling that my skiing was better then last year... Wink
