WMatilda, I am same as you, an intermediate. My kids are advanced. However all the weather forecasts show the weather below 1 degrees every night, some as low as minus 8 so how it is too warm for cannons I don't know. I'd love to know how they make snow in these chill factor places. We can transplant hearts and study the structure of DNA but we can't make snow unless it's minus 6? What a joke!! LOL
The hotel I am staying at have emailed me and said there is good snowfall due tomorrow. ??? ...

Hi Guys, in my opinion, and as I've just walked outside.... IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!, conditions were today( from the people who actually skied today) ok, bit icy but snow cover good. No worries for you all coming out soon, it's not as bad as some people make out!!!!re: Boro 27th Dec
Dear allI have been here all week and the weather in the day time has been +17, +15 and +12 respectively. The snow camnons were working on sunday and a bit on monday but have not been on since (too warm).
The Internet weather is not representative of the mark 1 (eyeball) weather report.
I feel a more realistic weather report is better than being disappointed when you arrive.

Of course. It is sad though when a ski resort cannot make snow at temperatures an artificial ski area in England can.
