Boro Mafia

Ive just read on another site that there is a large number of mafia in Borovets. They seem to run a couple of the bars and a majority of the (cough cough) gentlemens clubs Wink
Anybody know which are the best to visit and which to stay clear of - maybe a friend told you what they were like if you dont want to admit it Wink haha!!

re: Boro Mafia

You may hear lots of stories of Mafia in Bulgaria but as far as the tourists go they will only remain stories. You are a thousand times safer in Bulgarian tourist resorts than you are in the UK.

re: Boro Mafia

The Mafia are definately in Boro. I obviously look like the bad type but was offered Coke and weed a number of times. Have a bit of a long story about the mafia but the morel of the story is whatever you do, do not annoy any Bulgarians!!!!

Dont get me wrong by this post, I had an abosolutly wicked week and would happily go back again. To the normal tourist there wont be a problem at all, just seems to be after 5 in the morning when they had a few too many to drink.
