Boro Weather - CALM down!

For all those looking at weather for the coming week or so claiming high temps, melting snow etc etc... Calm down!!!

From what I see there is around a metre deep of snow on average and this cannot melt in a week, especially as temps look like they will only rise as high as -3 and go as low as -18. There is also predictions of snow EVERY day for next few days. See http://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Borovets.0to3mid.php

I have been skiing (Ok not in Boro but it's the same) in a T shirt for most of the week, nice and warm and only the very bottom of the slopes got slushy. And this was very late in the season too.

So.... for those heading out in the next couple of weeks (me included - 25th Boro), chill... it will be fantastic, loads of snow, great fun and England beating Scotland in the 6 Nations!

Mark dont forget to meet in the Buzz Bar in Boro on Sun 26th for a few beers as with luck there should be quite a party going on there but make sure you wear something blue so we all know who is who...

re: Boro Weather - CALM down!

Ho ho ho! Me wearing a scottish shirt.... yeah right!!!! Although it has to be said that a scot will happily wear a Welsh shirt if Wales are playing England (as seen in my local)!

Anyhoo... still not had any suggestions on where to watch the match yet Andy.

re: Boro Weather - CALM down!

By my reckoning the match starts at 19:30 local time which means that we will get there about an hour before (Flying from Bristol on the 11.55).

We are taking our shorts too but only for the pool!

Andy, if you want to walk around Boro knee deep in snow in shorts then fill yer boots!!!!

Sweet P have you been to Boro before? If so, any idea of a bar that will show the match and be OK to take the kids to too?

Pamps weather

Hi guys - I'm new to this site - I see everyone saying not to panic about the weather but I just looked at a 7 day forecast for Pamps and temps there will have gone up to 7c by Monday!! This cannot be good I'm thinking - esp since rain and not snow is being predicted for next week. Heading over on Sat

Advice someone please!!!

re: Boro Weather - CALM down!

AD... relax.

It will be lovely white and fluffy when you get there.

(a) Most weather forecasts are wrong and
(b) Look at the web cams and read the reports from those coming back.

Conditions are great!
