Borovets - just got back

Just got back from Borovets today and although the weather wasnt great for us I'm happy to let all you lucky boys and girls that are headed out there it was snowing ALL day yesterday from midstation to the top.
Oh and a very helpful tip for those going. If the Gondola isn't working due to high winds do not fear. Hop in a cab to the 4 man chair lift (the cab drivers will know exactly what you mean) and you will have a great days skiing/boarding with a mountain pretty much to yourself! Red ...

I've just come back too and had a fantastic time. There was very little snow all week and all the lower runs were getting very bare and icy but the ones up the top are still fine. It was snowing at the top when I was there yesterday afternoon but don't know how long for. The gondola was closed most of the week due to high winds but we stilled found a way to ski everyday except Fri when it was raining. All the instructors and everyone is praying for snow so fingers crossed for you all. I had ...
I've just come back too and had a fantastic time. There was very little snow all week and all the lower runs were getting very bare and icy but the ones up the top are still fine. You could watch them on the Alpina web cam tonight - next best thing

Its OK going to the 4 man (Yestrebets Express) But if you are learning or a beginner you have no chance on them ..... I saw skiiers and boarders who could going down on their back sides.The other thing to be of there is it regularly freezes so mornings are not good and its 15 lev there and back so will cost you £15 a day.
Takes you to the mid point but dont attempt Yestrebets 1 as its totally bald in the middle as is the one on the far right at the bottom.
