They still have enough snow on the beginners slopes outside Rila and plenty on top. Snow and colder conditions are forecast this week so you may have great conditions by the time you go.
As it is almost the end of winter, so the temp should be increasing, that's why i am worried. I know the temp is going to drop next week but it won't help if there is no snow falling. Hope there will be a lot of snow falling

BUT Calvin see the big lump of snow on the webcam. They are using that to keep snow on the nursery slopes and the one directly opposite the rila for the Webcams. there was a snow cannon on it last week now you can see they have dug the middle out. there is still loads there but when thats gone .... worry

There is ONE good slope for beginners at the top of the gondola so you should be OK as if you can get up there the snow was good.

One good slope up the gondola for begginers- yes like! then they will mannage the easy blue taking them down to the drag or chair taking them back to the easy green again!- which in turn is all beginners want!

I went over New Year and had a great time but unfortunately spoke out of line more recently, so be careful, although as the web cam on the Rila is off you can still see the mud on the Hotel web cam so agree with you post!
The mounds of artificial snow outside the Rila were the making of the holiday for lots of children the sledges and bum boards got up a terrific speed and looked great fun.
